Illuminated dragons, pandas, deer and other phantasmagorical creatures take over the Jardin d'Acclimatation in Paris for the Shanghai Festival of Dragons and Lanterns, coming to the French capital for the first time, in collaboration with the Shanghai Yuyuan Garden. During a night tour, festival participants go through the Shanhaijing, the "Book of Mountains and Seas," a classic of Chinese literature and the source of many myths still very popular today.
