Lawyers react after Senegal's supreme court confirmed a prison sentence handed down to the mayor of Dakar, convicted of killing a man during a wave of political violence in 2011. "We still have a remedy in the form of a stay of execution," says Cire Cledor Ly, one of the lawyers for Barthelemy Dias.
