Neither Spiderman nor Superman saves the day: there is no happy ending in the comics where cartoonist Lucas Garcia Paris gives voice to victims of human rights violations in Venezuela. His comics -- including one featuring a giant military boot about to crush demonstrators in protests against President Nicolas Maduro -- aim to "talk about what is happening in the country, in the immediate reality," the 50-year-old artist tells AFP in the small studio he set up in his apartment in Caracas.
