Worshippers attend a morning mass in eastern Ukraine's Russian-held city of Donetsk, which Moscow claimed to annex in 2022. The morning service takes place in lieu of the traditional midnight mass due to the city's martial law regime. Donetsk comes under frequent shelling, lying just a few kilometres from the frontline.
