Description
"Today it's a very big day for us, (...) finally we seek for justice, and the future political leaders will face off to their crimes they have committed," explains Ramzia Diab, outside the Swiss federal criminal Court in Bellinzone, where the trial of former Interior Gambian minister Ousman Sonko accused of crimes against humanity begins. The proceedings should last a month, with the verdict unlikely to be delivered before March. If convicted, Sonko could face life imprisonment. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES COMPLETE VIDI349K38Z_EN
