A former French soldier is on trial before the Charleville-Mezieres court for the sexual assault of one of his great-cousins, who was a minor at the time. In 2022, Nordahl Lelandais was sentenced to life imprisonment for the abduction and the murder of an eight-year-old girl in a case that horrified the country.
