Wang Yi, Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, concludes his tour of Africa with a visit to Ivory Coast. Upon his arrival in Abidjan, Wang Yi is greeted by his Ivorian counterpart, Kacou Houadja Leon Adom, before going to the residence of President Alassane Ouattara where they discuss cooperation on mutual interests. "We are truly grateful to the Ivorian side for giving us its firm support on issues affecting our vital interests, including the Taiwan question," says Wang Yi during a press conference with President Ouattara.
