Russia is seeing violence increase "in every part of life" says Olga Sadovskaya, the chair of the NGO Crew Against Torture, who puts the rise down to the "general situation" in the country as it continues its war in Ukraine. "Violence doesn't have borders... it spreads" she explains, speaking in an interview with AFP. Sadovskaya's comments come ahead of a UN committee on children's rights, which will grill Moscow on its treatment of Ukrainian children believed to have been sent to Russia by force.
