the Stefania, a 41-metre luxury yacht that was seized by the French courts, will be auctioned on Thursday afternoon in Antibes, on the Riviera. The almost brand new boat is expected to fetch for 8 to 10 million euros, money that will go to the French government. The procedure behind the seizure remains confidential at the moment, but it is the largest asset ever seized by the French national agency for the management and recovery of seized and confiscated assets, (Agrasc) since its creation in 2010.
