Images outside La Modelo, one of Colombia's most violent penitentiary centers. Located in the capital Bogota, the prison is under investigation after a former prison director gave gruesome testimony that bodies had been buried and hidden by far-right paramilitaries. A court investigating the worst crimes of the country's armed conflict announced on January 24 that it would begin searching for the bodies. IMAGES
