The Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, meets with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud in Cairo.
Shoukry says "These words are very significant in their meaning, and the same were not used regarding the killing of more than 26 thousand innocent civilians in Gaza" after the decision of the number of donor countries -- including Britain and Germany -- to follow the lead of the US in suspending additional funding to UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, over accusations of staff involvement in Hamas's October 7 attack on Israel.
