On a state visit to Sweden, French President Emmanuel Macron warns against blaming EU policies for the difficulties faced by French farmers, who are critical of certain obligations under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). “I think it would be easy to blame everything on Europe,” says Macron as agriculture workers continue protesting across France and elsewhere in Europe.
