'I had a lunchtime meeting at Matignon, and in the evening I find myself in police custody,' says Karine Duc, co-president of the Coordination Rurale union for the Lot-et-Garonne region, as she leaves the police station the day after her arrest at Rungis wholesale food market, where she had gone with other farmers to protest 'peacefully, without tractors, to get answers to our demands,' she says.
