Nearly a hundred activists from a nationalist group march through the centre of Lisbon in a demonstration against immigration and the "Islamisation of Europe", five weeks ahead of general elections in which the far right could make a new breakthrough.
With banners, torches and smoke bombs in hand, they marched through the fashionable Chiado district under the gaze of tourists, surrounded by a large police force separating them from passers-by, some of whom shouted anti-fascist slogans at them. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
