At a demonstration in Lyon, angry beekeepers lay hundreds of empty hives in the middle of Place Bellecour to raise awareness on the difficulties their sector faces from being pushed out of competition with cheap foreign honey imports, as well as the increased mortality rate of bees in a threatened environment.
