Shiite Muslim pilgrims gather at the shrine of Imam Musa al-Kadhim in the Kadhimiya district north of Baghdad to commemorate his death. Pilgrims from various Iraqi provinces undertake a march on foot to reach the shrine in the capital to commemorate the 795 CE death of the Imam, who is believed to have been poisoned by agents of the then ruler Harun al-Rashid.
