Ex-Panama President Ricardo Martinelli is at the Nicaraguan Embassy in Panama City after he was granted political asylum, Martinelli's legal team confirms. "We are willing to continue the legal battles, but making sure that his life and physical integrity are safeguarded because his life is in danger," says Jessica Canto, member of the legal team.
