Croatia's incumbent Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic claims victory in parliamentary elections for his Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). Addressing his supporters in Zagreb, Plenkovic pledged to continue with his policy agenda which he says has "protected Croatian citizens from crises," during his two four-year terms in office. Plenkovic's party won 60 seats in the 151-member assembly, results from more than 90 percent of the polling stations showed, setting the stage for tough talks to gather a majority.
