Description
After La France Insoumise leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon and far-right leader Eric Zemmour have been banned from public meetings in Lille and Brussels respectively, French President Emmanuel Macron says that he wants "everyone to be able to express their voice" in the European election campaign. "I don't share Jean-Luc Mélenchon's vision of things, either on the Middle East conflict or on many other issues. But I think it's important that they can express their voice, and the same goes for Mister Zemmour," Macron tells the press at an EU summit in the Belgian capital. SOUNDBITE
