Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado holds a rally near Caracas and discusses the July 28 elections in an exclusive interview with AFP.
This comes as the United States says the lifting of sanctions on Venezuela's oil sector, agreed by Nicolas Maduro's government and the opposition in Barbados in October 2023, will be revoked because the government failed to hold a free and fair electoral process. Machado, who won the opposition primaries, is one many who have been disqualified from the race. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
