Description
After a dangerous journey through several countries in Central America to reach the United States, Venezuelan migrant Moises Rojas is nearing the finish line in Mexico's Ciudad Juarez, limping because of an injury he sustained "crossing the jungle." This "fight," says the 58-year-old, is not something he would have done if the situation in his country was not so "critical."
Like Rojas, thousands of migrants face serious physical and psychological problems, warns the aid group Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières, MSF), which calls for an immigration policy that prevents migrants from "putting their lives at risk," describing the current one as "insufficient."
