Using their cellphones as torches people walk the darkened streets of Kharkiv’s city centre to charge their laptops and phones at pharmacies, post offices and restaurants after large parts the city were left without power due to overnight air strikes. Massive Russian strikes on Ukraine completely cut electricity and heating supply in the northeastern city, its mayor said. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
