Description
Agatha Christie's 1930s typewriter and the manuscript of her final Poirot novel -- famously kept for decades in a bank vault -- go on display Saturday in a new UK exhibition hosted by Cambridge University Library. The "Murder by the Book" display celebrates 20th century crime fiction in the UK. Curator and crime writer Nicola Upson praises Christie's enduring influence, saying "it's thanks to her and to the way that she created an audience's demand for crime fiction that crime writers like me can continue to do what we love today."
