Algiers residents, students and people from different provinces share a table set up on a street near the Grande Poste in Algiers, during a collective iftar organised on the 12th day of the month of Ramadan. "Around 3,000 meals are served to families from all walks of life. Our aim is to bring people together, there's no difference between a senior official and an ordinary employee," says Youcef.
