Europe's longest tunnel for testing 'hyperloop' technology opens in the Netherlands, with operators hoping that passengers could one day get from Amsterdam to Barcelona in just a couple of hours. The site, in Veendam, northern Netherlands, includes so-called 'lane-splitting' capabilities, allowing vehicles to branch off in different directions.
