"We haven't seen any change...on the ground," says Dr Christos Christou, Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) international president, after the UN Security Council this week passed a resolution demanding an "immediate ceasefire" in Gaza. Speaking to AFP, Christou says "we haven't seen any impact in people's lives and we haven't seen any impact in our ways of delivering humanitarian aid". Monday's resolution was the first such demand by the Security Council in more than five months of war in the Gaza Strip, after the United States - which had vetoed previous attempts - abstained.
