Charred buildings and dead bodies are strewn around the sprawling complex of Gaza City's Al-Shifa Hospital, the besieged Palestinian territory's largest, after Israeli forces pulled out following an intensive two-week operation. "We came here at 3.30 am before the Israeli troops withdrew, the hospital is completely destroyed, which means that it is no longer suitable for anything, either for patients or for life," an anonymous Palestinian eyewitness tells AFP.
