Description
The ArcelorMittal plant in Florange, in Northeastern France, is rolling the steel for the two thousand Olympic torches for the Paris 2024 Games, which will be carried by 11,000 torchbearers. The torch will be lit on 16 April in Olympia, Greece, and will begin its journey in France in Marseilles on 8 May. This will be followed by a relay in 400 cities before the flame is placed in the Olympic cauldron in the Jardin des Tuileries for the duration of the competition. IMAGES
