In Rennes, northwest France, around one hundred protesters defy the prefecture's ban and march through the streets under tight police surveillance, to denounce the government's dissolution of the far-left movement "Défense Collective" (DefCo). Officers push the protestors out of the city centre, and several who refuse to provide their identity during checks are searched and taken into police vehicles.
