Description
Tucked away in Rabat's Medina is an unusual place, a display of "Dolls of the World". This exhibition brings together almost 2,500 dolls from 93 countries in five continents. Dressed in folk costumes from different eras, they represent a part of the tradition of their countries of origin. "Why costumed dolls? Because they show the world's cultural diversity. And showing this diversity is what motivates us the most," says Abdeljalil Haffar, co-founder of the exhibition. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
