The Slovak populist government's ally, Peter Pellegrini, has won the presidential election, according to an almost complete count of the ballots. Mr Pellegrini received more than 53% of the vote against less than 47% for pro-European diplomat Ivan Korcok, according to figures released by the Slovak Statistical Office. IMAGES
