Scores of people gather in Trafalgar Square, one of London's landmark sites, to break fast at an "open iftar" as the Muslim holy month of Ramadan nears its end ahead of the celebration of Eid. The Ramadan Tent Project charity, now in its 11th year, hosts open iftars across the UK during Ramadan. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
