Humanitarian aid is airdropped over the Al-Mawasi area in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and over Gaza City on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan. Israel said 468 aid trucks -- a record since the war began -- were allowed into Gaza on the eve of the holiday which marks the end of Ramadan and is traditionally celebrated with family gatherings.
