Description
In the heart of the town of Foumban in western Cameroon, thousands turn out to watch Sultan King Mouhammad Nabil Mforifoum Mbombo Njoya inaugurate the Museum of the Bamoun Kings, which he calls "a great work that marks history and impacts the consciousness of present and future generations". More than 10,000 works are spread across several rooms of the museum, with visitors invited to discover the Bamoun cultural heritage dating back more than 500 years. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
