Workers clear away the debris inside a Ukrainian power plant after yet another attack. This facility, and others like it, have been in Russia’s crosshairs since the start of the war in 2022, but it has intensified recently. AFP visited the coal-fired plant run by energy provider DTEK, but the name and location is withheld for security reasons. Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko said this month that 80 percent of thermal power plants have been hit by attacks.
