Jailed US journalist Evan Gershkovich appears at a Moscow court for an appeal against the extension of his pre-trial detention until June 30, which has been rejected by the judge. Gershkovich, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal who was formerly at AFP, has spent more than a year in jail on espionage charges that carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
