Some hundreds of protesters gather outside the Columbia University campus, in New York, to demand the release of all the hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza, and to express their opposition to the pro-Palestinian encampment set up on the prestigious institution's main lawn. "It is despicable and horrible that we live in a world where an Ivy League institution, we have people of certain backgrounds that don't feel comfortable coming to their school and being safe", one of the protesters tells AFP.
