Several times a day, 'Steve' and 'Roy' launch a reconnaissance drone into the skies to gather intelligence from beyond the front lines behind Russian-held Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine, taking care to make sure their location remains secret. Both men have logged around 500 flights with their Ukrainian-made Leleka UAV, which relays information used to guide Kyiv's artillery and can stay airborne for up to two hours weather permitting.
