Mykhailivska Orthodox Church, in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, has attracted dozens of believers gathered the day before Easter to celebrate with prayers and a traditional blessing of both people and their Easter food baskets. "It is customary for us to bless the Easter basket the day before Easter. So, in the morning, we can sit down and eat the blessed food together as a family," explains Evgenia Kartushova.
