The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic mascots, known as the Phryges, are welcomed by locals, including singer Nicole Dambreville, as they arrive in the commune of Le Port on the French island of Reunion. "We are very proud to be welcoming a small piece of the Paris Olympics," says Johnny Hospital, the manager of the communications agency responsible for bringing the mascots to the island.
