"I've always watched reality TV," explains Agathe Riedinger, the director of "Wild Diamond" (FRENCH : "Diamant Brut") at the press conference to present her film at the Cannes Film Festival. "I was flabbergasted by these new tales, this new mythology, and by the fact that people think it's entertainment, that it's harmless, when in fact it's not at all," she adds, referring to the saga followed by her character, Liane, a budding reality TV contestant.
