Members of Sri Lanka's minority Tamil community mark 15 years since the end of the nation's civil war between the Tamil Tigers separatist group and the army. The emotional ceremony went ahead despite fears authorities would attempt to prevent its staging.
Among the attendees is Amnesty International's Agnes Callamard, she says "there are people in Sri Lanka waiting for justice" after the war concluded in 2009 following a military offensive in the last Tamil Tiger stronghold.
