Members of the Spanish and Catalan governments and the Barcelona council hold a minute's silence for the three Spanish tourists killed in Afghanistan in an attack claimed by the Islamic State group. Two of them, mother and daughter, were from Barcelona. "I want to acknowledge the tremendous pain we are suffering from this vile terrorist attack committed by Islamic State Khorasan in the city of Bamiyan, Afghanistan, with three fatalities, three Catalan victims," says Carlos Prieto, a delegate of the Spanish government in Catalonia.
