Piles of garbage accumulate near refugee tents in Al-Zawayda as local authorities are unable to access landfills in eastern areas of Gaza that are under the control of the Israeli army. Residents say the garbage has led to an increase in the spread of diseases through mosquitoes and other insects that have proliferated. "All our children have developed asthma.
