Description
A seemingly ordinary villa in the heart of Tripoli holds a lifetime of works by the late Libyan artist Ali Gana, whose family has transformed his house into the North African country's first and only modern art museum. "I wanted it to be something lively, educational, and almost playful in a certain way. Above all, a place that arouses curiosity in all its beauty," explains Hadia Gana, the youngest of the artist's four children. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
