Although omnipresent on state television channels, the war with Ukraine remains barely visible in the streets of Moscow. Only adverts at a few bus stops show jobs with the army and praise the "heroes" on the frontline. Whether due to patriotism, caution or indifference, 10 Muscovites interviewed by AFP asserted their right to a "normal" life despite the conflict and escalating tensions between Moscow and the West.
