A UK charity is urging Britain's incoming leaders to urgently address issues of social security with the number of people receiving emergency food parcels at a record high ahead of July 4 elections. "This is a historic high but we know that's only the tip of the iceberg," says Helen Barnard, of the Trussell Trust, adding: "The first thing they need to do really urgently is to look at social security."
