The annual Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), previously dubbed the "Russian Davos" continues while Western attendees at the set-piece event are few and far between this year, with the forum now serving as a demonstration of Russia's isolation in much of the developed world. The 2024 forum, which ends June 8, was marked by the presence of Taliban representatives and stands depicting the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Lugansk, partly controlled by Moscow. IMAGES
