Several hundred people gather in Paris to protest after the triumph of the far-right National Rally (RN) in the European elections, which garnered around 32% of the vote in France, prompting Emmanuel Macron to dissolve the National Assembly, demonstrators are calling for a “union of the left” at the next early legislative elections to counter the far right.
