Description
"We hope the country moves forward and not backwards" says Katalin, a resident of the Hungarian capital Budapest reacting to EU elections in which Prime Minister Viktor Orban's Fidesz party lost ground, according to almost-final results. Fidesz emerged as the country's strongest party, but with a reduced percentage of the vote compared to the last EU polls in 2019. Gaining about 30 percent of the vote, Peter Magyar's Tisza Party has emerged as Orban's main challenger. "I'm in favour of the change" says IT expert Gabor. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
